OVERVIEW
The Aufine Energy ATL8 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model can be installed on the trailer axle of the vehicle.
This tire promotes safe and seamless handling with its carefully designed tread. It consists of four center ribs and two shoulder ribs, which is wide enough to provide the stability one needs for big trucks. Each rib is covered with narrow lateral sipes that help with wet traction and further enhance handling. With such a wide tread and reinforced shoulders, the tire allows effortless cornering and sensitive steering as well.
Tire durability starts with a robust tread compound and they indeed opted for a strong rubber mix. This way, they have immediately extended the mileage the tire is capable of. It also comes with an enhanced casing for some extra durability and toughness. There are also the groove bottom protectors that strengthen the structure and also prevent stone drilling. These features together create an incredibly durable tire that maintains its original shape for long-term use.
The wide tread is not only great for handling but also for tread life. The driving pressure being divided between the six ribs significantly slows down tread wear. There is also less heat being generated thanks to the uniform pressure. If that’s not enough, the Energy ATL8 also has a reinforced shoulder that prevents edge wear, resulting in an even longer tread life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
